Dr. Barkoudah is a member of the Brigham Health Hospital Medicine Unit in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Barkoudah is the Associate Director of Hospital Medicine Unit and a Medical Director.
Dr. Barkoudah research interest lies in clinical research outcomes as well as clinical trials of therapeutic interventions through his role in the Clinical Endpoint Center at the Brigham and Womens Hospital.
His work focuses on quality improvement and clinical innovation. He currently serves on several clinical innovations committees, at Brigham and Womens Healthcare and Partners Healthcare.
After serving as a post-doctoral research fellow in physiology, Dr. Barkoudah completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
He served as an assistant in medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital, then joined the General Medicine Division at Brigham and Womens Hospital as Associate Physician, and Harvard Medical School as Assistant Professor.
He has also earned a Master degree in Public Health (MPH) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
