Professor Alexandra Konradi, MD, PhD, FESC, born February 6th, 1969. She started a career as a cardiologist in 1998. For 6 years was employed at St.PetersburgPavlov Medical University as an assistant professor, later moved to research, did a Ph.D. in left ventricular remodeling in hypertension and worked for 7 years as a Chief of Hypertension ResearchDepartment in Almazov Federal North-West Medical Research Centre(http://www.almazovcentre.ru/).
Since 2011, Alexandra Konradi working as a Vice-Director on Research of Almazov Centre and continued research activity in the hypertension field. Since 2015 - Director of Institute of Translational Medicine in The University of Informational Technologies and Optics(http://en.ifmo.ru/). Member of ESC since 2001, the Fellow of the ESC since 2014 participating regularly in ESC Congresses for 15 years with posters and oral presentations and in 2013-2017 being the Faculty member. The member of ESH and ISH and the vice-president of the Russian Society of Cardiology.60 publications in international journals, Hi-index 11 b? Scopus and 28 for Russian scientific index.
Her field of interest is resistant hypertension and renovascular hypertension, epidemiology, genetics and epigenetic of hypertension. A lot of publications in autonomic regulation and ABPM in hypertension, leading the sleep laboratory and OSA in hypertension and metabolic syndrome. Konradi A. was the president of Russian Antihypertensive League 2009-2011.
